Sessions are offered at 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., 1 to 4 p.m., and 4 to 7 p.m. Class orientation begins April 17th and will run for approximately three hours each day, Tuesday through Thursday. Once participants have completed the orientation, classes are held Monday through Thursday until the student has completed their goals. Instructors for the six-week course are Marilyn Hendryx and Lane Roberts.
Those 16 or 17 years of age must not be attending high school currently and provide documentation of such. A valid ID or driver’s license must also be provided. Participants will not be allowed to take the Official Practice Tests for the GED, which is required, unless some form of identification is provided and all required paperwork is complete. The cost for the class is $25 which covers the Official Practice Test fee and Work Keys Employment Skills Test, in addition to transition services. It is preferred that the $25 fee is paid prior to the first week of class. The GED test fee is $85 due when you register for the test.
